Luxury Italian brand Dolce & Gabbana presents beauty and accessories in the first Covent Garden Permanent Store

The luxurious Italian brand Dolce & Gabbana has opened its first combined beauty and accessories business in Covent Garden.

The 850 square meter shop in the market building is the first permanent location of the label in the Covent garden area, although in 2022 it has a Christmas pop-up on the Piazza.

In a world that is first invoiced for the brand, the boutique contains a selection of cosmetic and fragrance collections – as well as a make -up consulting area – and accessories, including glasses under the same roof. The business, which is opposite the intersection of the James Street, is equipped with gold paneling and monochrome tiles.

The leasing strengthens Covent Garden as an ever more important luxury single -handing destination in Central -London, after he was previously known as a mass market tourist draw.

Other luxurious beauty and fragrance brands in the area are Chanel Beauty, Diptyque, Glossier, Guerlain, Miller Harris, Penhaligon, Tom Ford Beauty. Charlotte Tilbury opened a larger flagship at the beginning of the year, including his World First Skin Spa, in an anchor unit.

William Oliver, retail lease director at Covent Garden Landlord Shaftesbury Capital, said: “Dolce & Gabbana’s commitment to the mixture of tradition with innovation makes Covent Garden the perfect place to debut a worldwide concept, follows in Chanel, Charlotte Tilbury, Glossier and Tom Ford.

“Building on the remarkable success of its pop-up in 2022, the brand reinstated the goal and represents Covent Garden’s appeal for internationally renowned fashion houses to take permanent roots.”

The opening of Dolce & Gabbana follows the recent announcement that Alo Yoga is opened at the intersection of Neal Street and Earlham Street. Last year, more than 50 brands invested in Covent Garden locations that are almost 100,000 square meters in size.

It is the fourth Standalone business of Dolce & Gabbana in the center of London. The flagship is located in the Bond Street with other sockets in the Sloane Street and a Casa Store facility in the Brompton Road. There is also a license in Harrods.

Dolce & Gabbana WAS Founded in Legnano in 1985 by Italian designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana. The Six -Storey flagship in the Old Bond Street was opened in 2018.
